Conveniently located on West Busch Boulevard in Tampa, Harkins DiPierro LLP was formed in 2019 as a partnership between Harold Harkins and Anthony DiPierro.
Harold started the practice on January 1, 1989, having worked at TECO Energy, Inc. since 1982 as a staff assistant in the corporate office. He was initially a sole practitioner with an office across Franklin Street from TECO before moving the practice to the Carrollwood area in 1990, where he created Harkins & Associates. Harold is the founding partner of Harkins DiPierro, LLP, and retired in October 2022.
Prior to becoming an attorney in 2016, Anthony DiPierro accumulated over 10 years of experience in tax preparation and IRS representation, including as an Enrolled Agent (licensed by the IRS to represent individuals and businesses in audits and other tax matters).

A person who dies in the state of Florida without a will has their property distributed according to Florida’s laws of intestate succession. There are two primary types of powers of attorney. A durable power of attorney allows the individual or individuals you designate to manage your financial affairs when you are unable to do so. A health care power of attorney lets you designate one or more health care surrogates who can make health care decisions for you when you are unable to do so. If you have been named as the successor trustee for a trust and the original contributor to the trust has died, resigned, or is otherwise no longer able to serve, we can help you administer the trust according to its terms, so that you meet your legal obligations and minimize your legal risks. We also are available to serve as acting or successor trustee for your trust.
